What to Expect for the 11am Sunday Worship Service

When you come to The Sanctuary on a Sunday you can expect a friendly environment.  Plan to park in our special visitor’s parking spaces located just inside the entrance of the parking lot.

Plan to arrive at 10:30am if you would like to enjoy a cup of coffee in the coffee shop.  There are a variety of beverages and snacks available for purchase.

Our worship could be described as somewhere between traditional and contemporary.  Music is followed by a relevant message and an opportunity for prayer.  The 11am service generally last about an hour and 15 minutes.

What should I wear?

You are welcome to come just as you are.  You will find a variety of attire; some will be in jeans and t-shirts while others choose to wear traditional church dress (men in suits and women in dresses).

Where do I go?

From the front parking lot, you will enter the main lobby.  There is a Host Team member at the door and another at the Reception desk.  These people are there to help!  If you park in the back lot you will enter through the courtyard area.  Follow the signs to the main lobby and auditorium.

What about children?

A nursery is provided in the Education Building for infants through 3 years old during this service.  We also have children’s programing for PreK – 5th grades during the 11am service.  These services are held in the Education Building.  Follow the signs to the Youth Lobby where you will find a Check-In desk and a Host Team member to help you.

On your child’s first visit you will need to register them at the Check-In Desk.  We will collect basic contact information from the parent/guardian (in case we need to get in touch with you) as well as pertinent health and allergy information about your child.  All children wear name badges for safety.  Please inform the Host Team member if you have specific needs or concerns.

You will need your pick-up tag after service, as we have a 100% tag-match policy at the exit door.

If your child is in the 4th – 5th grade, parents can register them for self-release.  They will check in at a special station to get a self-release tag.  Self-release students are dismissed at the conclusion of the service to locate their parents on their own.

What about youth?

On Sundays the youth join the adult services in the main auditorium. There is no separate youth program during the 9am service.  There is, however, a 10am Sunday School class for middle schoolers and high schoolers.  Ask a Host Team member for assistance in finding the right class.

The main Youth Service (Fuel Youth) meets at 7pm on Wednesday nights.
